What is a rom? A rom is a backup or copy of a game cartridge.(ex. Mario Bros.) It costs a lot of money to buy hardware to backup these files so this page is free public service to backup your games. What is an emulator? An emulator is simply a program written by really smart people (who usually have no life) which mimics a game system.(ex.
